New Beginnings

Fulbright Germany is pleased to announce that Dr. Cathleen Fisher has agreed to serve as the Fulbright Commission's new Executive Director. Dr. Fisher, president of the “American Friends of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation,” is currently preparing for her move from Washington, D.C. to Berlin, where she will step into her new role on September 7, 2021. This will not be Dr. Fisher's first time living in Germany, however, nor is it her first association with Fulbright Germany. She spent a year in Bonn as a Fulbright grantee in 1981/82. The Fulbright Commission eagerly anticipates her arrival.
