Research for Doctoral Dissertation

University of California, Berkeley

In April our current grantees in the Doctoral Program arrived in the U.S.
Miriam Klemm now conducts four months of research on the development of male contraceptive technology at the University California in Berkeley.  Prior to her departure, Miriam, a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Technical University Berlin, was interviewed by her colleagues at the Graduiertenkolleg "Innovationsgesellschaft heute: die reflexive Herstellung des Neuen":

The Fulbright Doktorandenprogramm offers funding for German Ph.D. students, who pursue a four to six months long research project at a U.S. host institution. The scholarship covers international travel, maintenance in the amount of 1600 Euro per month, visa fees and health insurance as well as access to the Fulbright Network.

Please refer to the program announcement for the September 15th deadline and more information.
