From North Dakota to Texas, Alaska to Florida, Hawaii to New York: on October 3, more than 130 elementary, middle and high schools in 45 states celebrate German culture. Take a virtual trip across the US and discover where our over 150 “citizen ambassadors” will organize fun and creative classroom activities!
Dr. Oliver Schmidt, Executive Director of Fulbright Germany, explains: “We are especially proud that many of the participating schools can be found in the US heartland, not only in metropolitan regions.” The interactive map truly illustrates the national scope of Meet-a-German.
