** Update: We're happy our students are safely back in Germany. Check out their blog for the details of their experience and return journey **
From February 23 to March 21, 2020, 26 undergraduate students from German universities and universities of applied sciences are participating in the Fulbright program “Leaders in Entrepreneurship” at Louisiana State University (LSU).
The program will offer the students of engineering and technical sciences classes and lab visits at LSU’s College of Engineering as well as introduce them to life and study in an American campus community and expose them to American culture and society.
Program points like a buddy program and participation in a campus start-up weekend provide the participants with ample opportunities to actively engage with their U.S. counterparts. The program is complemented by excursions to local industrial facilities and meetings with local entrepreneurs which will provide the participants with opportunities to get to know engineering businesses in Louisiana and observe engineers in their work and business environment.
