At the Berlin Seminar I discussed the different forms that Holocaust Memorilaization takes within Germany, and gave an overview of the largest critiques of the modern memorial strucutre from both sides of the conversation.
Taken from both an academic and journalistic perspective, this talk gives an overview of the debate going on in Germany today about the future of Holocaust memory and how it coincides with the political landscape.
Amanda Pridmore is a grantee of the Fulbright Young Professional Journalist Program 2017/2018. She graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor's in Political Science and Philosopohy. In Germany Amanda studies at The Institut für Zeitgeschichte in Berlin.
