On October 3, 2018 on the occasion of the Day of German Unity and the beginning of the “Deutschlandjahr 18/19,” Germans and Americans (who have lived in Germany) will lead fun and interactive classroom or outdoor activities focused on Germany at up to 500 American elementary-, middle-, and high schools all across the U.S. As “citizen ambassadors” they will offer target-group-oriented and interactive formats around the topic of contemporary Germany, ranging from class quizzes to karaoke and soccer camps.
