Mar 20, 2016 - Mar 24, 2016
From March 20-24, about 350 American Fulbrighters from all over Europe and about 200 German grantees-to-be, got together in Berlin for our annual Berlin Seminar.
For the Americans, this meeting marked the “half time” of their stay in Europe whereas the Germans still have their Fulbright adventure ahead of them and were eager to be prepared for their time in the U.S.
Each conference day provided the participants with grant-related sessions, panels in which they could actively contribute and share their academic work and experience abroad and ample opportunities for networking and exchange.
Board members and special guests welcomed the crowd on the opening night and the Chief of Protocol of the Governing Mayor of Berlin took the time to answer our most pressing questions about Berlin.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we already look forward to hosting what will then be the 63rd Berlin Seminar in the heart of Europe.
