Meeting with Fulbrighters during the 2018 German-American Conference

Friederike von Reden, responsible for strategic development at Fulbright Germany, attended the 10th German-American Conference at Harvard University from October 5 to 7, 2018. The conference brings together top leaders in business, politics, academia and media. Among the many distinguished speakers was publisher/editor of the German weekly, Die Zeit and Fulbright alumnus, Josef Joffe, who addressed the 500 participants on "Nation and state vs. Europe: when the sum of the parts is larger than the whole."

Later that day, Friederike met with Fulbright grantees and alumni in Cambridge, MA. Some traveled from as far as Chicago to discuss transatlantic issues at the conference, which is also part of Deutschlandjahr USA.
