Fulbright Germany Mourns the Death of Arnaud Roujou de Boubée, Executive Director of the Franco-American Fulbright Commission

In the international circle of partners and colleagues of the German-American Fulbright Program, Arnaud Roujou de Boubée belonged to our closest friends. For more than 20 years he has been a close associate and supporter, inspiring us too with exciting ideas, always glad to provide good-neighborly services from the Fulbright Commission in Paris.

He was one of the first European Fulbright colleagues with whom we organized joint exchange programs, engaging our U.S. Fulbright grantees in novel Franco-German-American expert trialogues and offering comparative European perspectives.  Fulbright Germany has lost a longtime friend and companion in the promotion of transatlantic ties. He will be sorely missed in the international Fulbright community. We sympathize with our colleagues at the Franco-American Commission.
