The Annual NAFSA Conference 2017 takes place in Los Angeles, California, from May 28 until June 2.
This year’s conference theme, “Expanding Community, Strengthening Connections” intends to foster the commitment to global learning and mobility, to support internationalization and to articulate its values.
Representing the German-American Fulbright Commission, Program Officer Thomas Mutzke attends the NAFSA conference in order to meet with international education professionals and to learn, to connect, and to explore new horizons in international education. Thomas is meeting with longstanding and new partners from U.S. universities and with colleagues from other exchange organizations.
A special meeting was held by the Chair of the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FFSB), Jeffrey Bleich, who invited representatives from the worldwide Fulbright Program to discuss current developments and share experiences.
