For the participants of the 2009 Fulbright German Studies Seminar: “Germany’s Future: New Parties - New Solutions?”
Dear Seminar Participants
To help you prepare for this year's Fulbright German Studies Seminar, we have compiled a reading list which you find below. Taking into account that you have different academic backgrounds and bring diverse fields of expertise, we have put together a list of readings, which provides basic background knowledge on most subjects covered in the course of the seminar.
The list of readings, compiled in Section A) “READER” should be studied by all participants.
Section B) “ADDITIONAL GERMAN STUDIES RESSOURCES ON THE INTERNET” serves for your own personal research on Germany.
Please visit this webpage periodically because we may add further reading material as the program for the German Studies Seminar 2009 progresses.
Please note that during the Program Introduction on Sunday, June 7, 2009 we will also discuss the Reading Material provided and you will have the opportunity to clarify questions you may have. In order to be well prepared for this meeting we therefore urge you to read the material provided before your arrival in Berlin.
