- Karima Klasen
Karima Klasen started her Fulbright Scholarship in 2006 and graduated in the summer of 2008 with her MFA from Boston University. Her work involves the investigation and deep penetration of the relations between color & shape in various contexts.
Klasen collects visual memorabilia on her journeys around the world. Through the combination of geometric and organic forms Klasen seeks to provide the viewer with an unexpected visual experience. She redefines painting in an expanded field and uses the space as her canvas.
