Ulrich Paar, currently an architect in Krefeld, Germany, was a Fulbrighter in 1986. He attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia where he studied architecture. He stayed on at Virginia Polytechnic until 1991.
In his spare time, Paar likes to travel and paint in watercolor. The results of those two passions can be seen in 21 sketches he has created over the past 6 years.
