Berlin Capital Program
Young U.S. journalists are invited to apply for the 2010 Berlin Capital Program. The one-week seminar will take place in Berlin November 14- 21, 2010. The program offers young U.S. journalists the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the political, economic and cultural environment in Germany/Europe with a special focus on the transformation of German media landscapes and the changing role of media in politics and society. The program will contribute to the participants’ professional development and expertise and broaden their cultural horizons. Applications are welcome until June 25, 2010. For more details, see:

Full and Partial Scholarships for Study in the U.S.
For the purpose of studying at U.S. universities during the American academic year 2011 - 2012, the Fulbright Commission makes available full and partial scholarship directed at German students and graduates of Universitäten and Fachhochschulen. Students and graduates who want to experience the international dimension of the world-wide Fulbright program, intend to broaden their academic expertise and wish to benefit from the variety of academic and extra-curricular opportunities at U.S. universities, are invited to apply. The application deadline closes on July 9, 2010 (Fachhochschulen) and July 2, 2010 (Universitäten), respectively. Detailed application information is available at:
