Seminar for German Administrators in International Education

Up to 15 German participants will visit selected private and public universities in Washington, D.C. and its neighbouring regions. They will explore the role of internationalization at U.S. universities, the types of exchange programs they administer, for which target groups, and which partner countries/institutions they choose. With their American counterparts the German administrators will discuss the possibilities of strengthening the academic exchanges with the U.S. and finding suitable cooperation partners. Issues such as the recruitment of international students, the competitiveness of study programs at German universities and the implementation of joint degree programs will also be part of the seminar agenda.
