The Fulbright-Hertie Summer Academy 2009 is hosted by the International Relations Office of the University of Potsdam. The program does not only contain German language and academic courses but also offers a variety of extracurricular activities. In addition to the program in Potsdam the American minority students meet with German students with diverse backgrounds – mainly grantees of the START-Stiftung and former participants of the Fulbright Diversity Initiative – in Berlin.
