Annual Report
The annual report 2006/2007 of the German-American Fulbright Commission is now available here
"Diversity"-Initiative 2008
As in 2006 and 2007, scholarships will also be available this summer to enable German diversity students to attend a 5-week study program at a U.S. university. Three different study institutes will be offered in 2008:
- A summer program for beginning students at the California State University at East Bay (the application deadline for this program passed March 03, 2008).
- A summer institute at the University of Alaska at Anchorage for students in Education (Lehramtstudierende). Applications will be received until March 28, 2008.
- A diversity institute at the University of Kentucky at Lexington for students from all fields of study, including students enrolled in Fachhochschulen. Applications for this program will be received until April 14, 2008.

Fulbright Seminar Stimulates Publication on Muslim Integration
Collaboration fostered by the 2006 Fulbright German Studies Seminar led to a special journal issue on "Muslim Integration in Postindustrial Democracies", guest edited by Pamela Irving Jackson (a seminar participant) and Judith A. Warner. Read more...
