US Administrators in International Education
A Group of 25 U.S. Administrators in International Education will be visiting Germany from October 28 – November 9, 2007.
The seminar program offers them a week of introduction in Berlin to all relevant higher education issues, including university reforms, career services, fundraising/alumni networks and European developments. Their stay in Berlin will also include visits to schools, companies, the German parliament, and to a concert. The group will then be subdivided for the 2nd week to visit other German regions and universities (Kiel/Hannover; Hamburg/Bochum; Dresden/München) before concluding their educational journey at Frankfurt/Main University. The American administrators will not only have a chance to understand the German system of higher education better, but can also contribute substantially to the ongoing developments and discussions in Germany.
The group will also be meeting with experts and German university administrators and many alumni of the various programs in Germany in an effort to maintain and expand these networks.
